As an experienced licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), I am here to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals, couples, and families to create positive and long-lasting change in their lives. I work from the perspective that the client is the expert and see myself as a guide to help you on your journey toward mental wellness, personal growth, and fulfilling relationships. We will work collaboratively to identify the areas where you are stuck, patterns that are unhelpful towards your growth, and boundary issues preventing you from being your best self. Depending on your specific struggles, I will draw from my extensive training and use evidence-based approaches, such as ACT, CBT, and IPT, to facilitate your best possible outcome.
My professional experience began after completing my Masters of Social Work in 2007 from the University of Southern California. I first worked with children and adolescents in the foster care system, providing therapy and assisting clients in processing trauma relating to physical and sexual abuse, neglect, and exposure to domestic violence. I then joined Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles and provided short and long-term therapy to clients dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, and life transitions; while specializing in individual and group therapy for mothers and fathers facing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
